The Victory is Not Complete

Thank you for attending the 19th Annual Medical Marijuana Benefit Concert! In 2016, Florida voters approved Medical Marijuana and established constitutional protection for medical patients, yet the amendment allowed for the new rules to be written by the Florida Legislature and the Department of Health. So while we have reason to celebrate, we also have need to contact our local and state elected officials to enact practical laws for reasonable distribution of marijuana in Florida. With over 71% approval, we have a clear electoral mandate the should be respected. As we continue to develop platforms for outreach, we will strengthen our citizen movement for reform! Please stay in contact with organizations like NORML of FL, the ACLU of Miami, Florida for Care and others working to change the laws and protect our rights! Together we make a difference!
